my lasagna recipe
This is far from being a secret recipe or original. It's just quick and delicious.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
We love lasagna but preparing it can be an effort. Mixing the filling together and layering with the noodles makes this a simple lasagna recipe. We loved adding the cheeses to the meat and sauce. It adds so much flavor and savoriness. This is so easy to prepare it is an easy weeknight recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 pound Italian sausage, mild
- 1 package lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 large container of cottage cheese, 24 oz
- 1 jar Prego Italian sausage and garlic
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 medium onion
- 1 1/2 pounds mozzarella cheese (about 6 cups)
How To Make my lasagna recipe

Step 1Brown hamburger and sausage with chopped onion and garlic powder. Drain.

Step 2Bring lasagna noodles to boil and drain after cooked.

Step 3Mix meat mixture and Prego sauce with cottage cheese.

Step 4Add most of the mozzarella cheese to the mixture (about 4 cups).

Step 5Layer noodles on bottom of the lasagna pan. Top with some of the meat/cheese mixture.

Step 6Alternate noodles with meat/cheese.

Step 7Sprinkle top of lasagna with rest of mozzarella cheese.

Step 8Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with Texas Garlic Toast.
