mom's golden macaroni
I first had this at my in-laws house when my husband and I first started dating. I loved it the first time I tasted it, probably because the sauce is actually condensed tomato soup which was always a favorite. It's quite easy to make and is done in no time. BUT, to this day, I don't know why my mother-in-law called it GOLDEN Macaroni?? No doubt about it, though.... it's quite tasty! One thought - if you want more sauce, feel free to add a 2nd can of soup or perhaps a can of undrained petite diced tomatoes.
