I got the idea for this recipe after watching a friend make a quick snack for her grandson using only the Scoops and cheese... Got my wheels to turning and I decided to try them out at the Superbowl party..They were a BIG hit!!

  • 1 pkg
tostito's scoops (little tortillia bowl chips)
  • 1 lb
cooked ground beef with taco seasoning prepared according to directions on seasoning packet,
  • 1 jar(s)
    salsa, chunky
  • 1 pkg
    sour cream
  • 1 jar(s)
    taco sauce
  • 1 pkg
    mexican blend shredded cheese

How to Make Mini Taco Appetizers

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place Scoops on cookie sheet. In each scoop, put some of the taco meat and top with a generous pinch of the shredded cheese. Pop into the oven for 5-8 Minutes, or until cheese is all melted. Remove from oven and add a dollop each of sour cream and salsa. Top with a little taco sauce and serve. These go fast, so make at least 6 to 8 per person!
You can also add re-fried beans, lettuce, hot sauce..whatever you like on taco's!! Kids really love them because they are a kid friendly size and they make less of a mess than regular tacos. Enjoy!!
