My mom made this for me once and I fell in love with it!!!! Its healthy and tasty, and its great with a side of corn bread.

Ingredients For mexican stew

  • 1 can
    corn
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes and chili
  • 1 can
    hominy
  • 1 can
    kidney beans, canned
  • 1 can
    pinto beans, cooked
  • 1 pkg
    dry ranch sesoning
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • 1 lb
    turkey or ground beef
  • 1/2 can
    water

How To Make mexican stew

  • 1
    first put all your cans into the crock pot and start heating it.
  • 2
    cook meat separately, after browning meat place it into the crock pot with everything else.

    Let cook for a couple hours. If you put the meat in with the cans of beans and veggies it will take up to 6 hours to cook all the way threw. If you cook meat then add to crock pot it only needs to warm up for a couple hours.

    Make a side of corn bread if preferred. I love putting the corn bread into my bowl of stew. Or put some tortilla chips like fritos in the stew my family loves that as well. Its also good if you add sour cream and shredded cheese into your bowl of stew. however you like to do it, its all yummy.
