These are so good and easy to make .And the best thing about it is you can make this in your slow cooker .

chopped onion
1 can(s)
15 oz diced tomatoes,juice and all
1 can(s)
8oz tomato sauce
2 Tbsp
tomato paste
1 tsp
dried italian seasoning
1 lb
ground beef or chicken
1/2 c
fresh whole wheat or white bread crumbs [1 slice of bread
egg lightly beaten
3 Tbsp
finely chopped fresh parsley
2 clove
1/4 tsp
1/8 tsp
black pepper
4 small
hard rolls split
4 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin

How to Make Meat Ball Grinders


  • 1Combine onions,diced tomatoes,,tomato sauce,tomatoe paste and italian seasoning in slow cooker.Cover and cook on low 3 to 4 hours or until onions are soft.
  • 2During the lat 30 minutes of cooking time ,make you meat balls ,combine beef,bread crumbs,egg,parsley,garlic,salt and pepper in medium bowl.
  • 3With wet hands form mixture into 12 to 16 meatballs.Put olive oel in skillet heat over medium heat till hot .Add meatballs cook about 8 to 10 minutes or until well browned on all sides.
  • 4Remove from heat add to slow cooker,cook 1 to 2 hours or until meatballs are no longer pink in centers .Place 3 to 4 meatballs in each roll.Divide sauce evenly, spoon over meatballs .Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
