Martha's Hamburger Soup
The recipe can be doubled or tripled easily to feed a crowd!
2 - 3 mediumcarrots, roughly chopped
1stalk celery, peeled and roughly chopped
2 - 3potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 can(s)tomatoes (16 ounce)
1/2 bunchparsley, chopped
2 clovegarlic, minced
·salt and pepper, to taste
How to Make Martha's Hamburger Soup
- Brown hamburger in a large pot. - Do not pour off grease! (yes, I know, I know, but it adds flavor). Add garlic and onion;saute briefly, until tender.
- Add carrots, potatoes, celery, tomatoes and salt and pepper. Add water to pot to barely cover ingredients.
- Bring to a boil; cover, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 1/2 hour to 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve and enjoy!
