How To Make maple marinated flank steak
-
Step 1Score meat diagonally on both sides. Place in a large zipper-type bag.
-
Step 2Combine remaining ingredients except water and corn starch, and pour over meat. Seal and refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning the bag occasionally.
-
Step 3Reserve marinade. Place meat on a broiler pan rack. Let it sit to warm to room temperature. Preheat broiler.
-
Step 4Place rack 6-7 inches from heat. Broil 6-7 minutes per side for medium doneness.
-
Step 5Meanwhile, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Dissolve corn starch in water and add to the marinade. Stir 2 minutes or until thickened.
-
Step 6Slice meat against grain and serve with sauce.
