lynn's smoke-house roast
I had to share this because it is the BEST thing I have ever grilled/smoked in my life. I would normally smoke meat or poultry the entire cooking time on the smoker. However, because I had already been outside for hours grilling, I couldn't take the heat any longer and took it off the smoker after about 1 1/2 hrs. Then finished it up in my elec. roaster in the house. This is a 7-bone roast that has an incredible mild mesquite flavor, is melt in your mouth tender, and is as juicy as a reservoir. It truly tastes like meat from a smokehouse.

- - smoker
- - mesquite wood
- - spray bottle of water
- - elec. roasting pan or crock pot
How To Make lynn's smoke-house roast
-
Step 1Rub both sides of meat with olive oil and Mrs. Dash original blend.
-
Step 2Smoke roast for about 3-4 hrs. flipping over every half hour and spraying with water.
-
Step 3Remove from smoker and wrap tightly in foil. I let mine cool then refrigerated it until the following day, but it can go directly into the roaster or crock pot.
-
Step 4I placed mine in the elec. roaster on a rack, with 1 cup of water in the bottom. I cooked at 300° for about 2 hrs.
