- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups butternut squash,peeled;cut into 1/4-inch chunks
- 3 pounds ground turkey
- 1/2 cup smoky barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce or hot sauce to taste
- 1 - onion,minced
- 2 - red peppers,chopped
- 2 cups dark beer or ale
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 cups ccanned pinto beans,drained
- 2 cups frozen corn,thawed
How To Make lightened chili

Step 1Warm 1 tbs.olive oil in skillet on high heat.Add squash;saute.Transfer to a large pot.Return skillet to heat:add remaining oil and turkey.Brown,then add it to the squash.

Step 2Add next (10)ingredients and place pot over medium heat.Bring to a simmer and lower heat;then cook for (30)minutes.Stir frequently.Add water if necessary to get to your desired thickness or looseness.Stir,remove from heat,add to bowls,and serve.
