Lean 'N Tasty Beef Breakfast Sausage
I love it because it is easy to make ahead, form into patties and freeze. Just thaw, cook, and serve ... and sit back and enjoy the compliments!
1 lblean ground round
1/2 cbeef broth
1 tsplemon zest, grated
1 Tbsplemon juice, fresh
4 Tbspdry breadcrumbs
1/4 tspfennel seeds, crushed
1/4 tspground ginger
1/4 tsprubbed sage
1/4 tspred pepper flakes
How to Make Lean 'N Tasty Beef Breakfast Sausage
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix Well. Cover and let rest 15 minutes.
- Shape meat mixture into 8 equal patties.
- Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Cook patties, working in batches if necessary, over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side.
- Remove patties from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
