Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground round
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 4 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Step 1In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix Well. Cover and let rest 15 minutes.

Step 2Shape meat mixture into 8 equal patties.

Step 3Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Cook patties, working in batches if necessary, over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Step 4Remove patties from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
