I have been making lasagna for decades and in doing so discovered the easiest, fastest, and most family friendly way. This recipe makes great leftovers if there actually are any!

method Convection Oven

Ingredients For lasagna

  • 1 lb
    extra lean ground beef
  • 9
    lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 pkg
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pkg
    mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 jar
    classico spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c
    ricotta cheese
  • italian seasoning to taste

How To Make lasagna

    Lightly oil oblong baking pan and preheat oven to 350

    In a large skillet break up ground beef and cook till brown
  • 3
    Add both jars of spaghetti sauce to beef and stir until heated through. Stir in desired amount of Italian seasoning then remove pan from heat

    Place three lasagna noodles lengthwise in pan and cover with 1/3 sauce and meat mixture
  • 5
    Too this first layer with 1/2 the cheddar cheese then cover with three more cooked lasagna noodles
  • 6
    Top noodles with 1/3 of sauce mixture and drop ricotta cheese by small spoonfuls in 6 to 8 dollops
  • 7
    Top with remaining three lasagna noodles, cover with remaining sauce and top with even layer of mozzarella cheese

    Bake for 30 minutes uncovered. Remove from oven and allow to cool until it can be cut into squares.
