katrina burgers
This is the "only" way I want my burgers made and when we go out... I make sure the cook of the restaurant knows it. I am polite about it, but the first thing I want to know before ordering a burger is will they make it exactly the way I like if I tell them? They ALWAYS say yes! And one restaurant actually put it on the menu. They got the name WRONG, but you can order it exactly as I make it at home ;

Ingredients
- 1/3 pound very lean ground beef
- 1 - big kaiser roll, toasted
- 1/2 - fresh avocado, sliced
- 2 - swiss cheese, thin slices
- 3 - red onion slices
- 1 tablespoon light mayonaise
How To Make katrina burgers

Step 1Form each patty and make a large depression in the center so you have a patty not a ball of meat

Step 2Grill according to taste. I like mine medium well. Add salt and pepper to taste and toast the bun.

Step 3Just before removing burger from the grill add cheese slices

Step 4Build the burger with avocado & onion and spread mayonaise on one half the bun. Take a bite and fall in love
