  • 2 lb
    baby carrots
  • 2 lb
    red potatoes, small
  • 2 heads
    celery
  • 1
    roast, large
  • 1 can(s)
    beef broth
  • 1 pkg
    beefy onion dry soup mix

How to Make Jake's Favorite Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Quarter potatoes & celery stalks.
  2. Layer veggies in large oven safe pot. Carrots on bottom, followed by potatoes, then celery.
  3. Sprinkle 1 packet of soup mix over veggies.
  4. Top with roast. Sprinkle with remaining soup packet & rub lightly.
  5. Add broth, without removing seasoning from meat. Cover.
  6. Roast in 325° oven for 3 1/2 hours.
