Don't these look good? Mmm, I can almost taste the tomato flavor and yummy cheese. It takes very little time to get that Italian flavor. I have tweaked Taste of Home's recipe just a bit.
prep time45 Min
italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 or 2 clove
beef sirloin steak, boneless
1/4 to 1/2 c
shredded parmesan, romano, & asiago cheese blend
How To Make
In a shallow bowl, whisk egg. In another shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
Cut the steak into four pieces; dip each piece in egg, then coat with bread crumb mixture.
In a large skillet, cook steaks in oil for 5 minutes on each side. Add garlic and cover; continue cooking over low heat for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat sauce in a small saucepan. Spoon over steaks; sprinkle with cheese and serve.
