Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1
    onion cut into strips
  • 1/2
    red bell peppers cut into strips
  • 1/2
    green bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 lb
    beef cubed steaks
  • 1-(14-1/2/ oz
    can diced tomatoes, no salt added

How to Make Italian Steak and Veggies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook the peppers, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside.
  2. Add the cubed steaks to the same skillet and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, turning once.
  3. Add the tomatoes to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until meat is tender.
