Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 - onion cut into strips
  • 1/2 - red bell peppers cut into strips
  • 1/2 - green bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound beef cubed steaks
  • 1-(14-1/2/ ounce can diced tomatoes, no salt added

How To Make italian steak and veggies

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook the peppers, onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper 5 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Add the cubed steaks to the same skillet and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, turning once.
  • Step 3
    Add the tomatoes to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until meat is tender.
