Ingredients

2 lbpot roast, trimmed

1/2 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbspbutter

1 1/2 clovegarlic (minced)

1/3 cchopped onions

1 dash(es)salt

1/2 tsppepper

1/2 tsprosemary

2 Tbspminced parsley

1/3 cbeef broth

1 1/2 Tbspdry vermouth

6 ozcanned tomato sauce
How to Make Italian pot roast
- Heat the oil and butter in a pan. Place roast, garlic, and onions in the oil and butter and cook until brown on all sides, approximately 10 minutes.
- Season with the salt, pepper, and rosemary, and then add the parsley, beef broth, vermouth, and tomato sauce.
- Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until meat is tender.
