When I don't know what to have for dinner I will make up a batch of hot beef. This is great to take on picnics and can be doubled if you need a lot. Leftovers can be turned into chili base as well.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - medium onion chopped
- 3 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 - 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
How To Make homemade hot beef

Step 1Brown ground beef in large skillet with onion.

Step 2Drain off excess grease.

Step 3To skillet add mustard, pepper, salt, tomato sauce, tomato juice and vinegar.

Step 4Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
