Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 - bell pepper, de-seeded and cubed
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, do not drain
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 small carrots, diced
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 cups water or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Step 1Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain off any excess fat.

Step 2Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Step 3Cover and cook over medium heat until boiling.

Step 4Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 35 minutes. Serve hot.
