Ingredients

  • 1 can 14-oz can beef broth
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 - cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 pound beef flank steak
  • 3 medium bell peppers, seeded and cut lengthwise into quarters (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 large onion, cut into strips
  • 8 - 6-8 inch flour tortillas
  • - salsa

How To Make guadalajara beef

  • Step 1
    Combine beef broth, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, chili powder and ground red pepper in a resealable plastic food storage bag; knead bag to combine. Add beef and seal. Refrigerate up to 24 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Step 2
    Remove beef from marinade; discard remaining marinade. Grill beef over hot coals 7 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Grill bell peppers and onions 7-10 minutes or until tender, turning once.
  • Step 3
    Slice beef and serve with bell peppers, onions, tortillas, sour cream and salsa.
