ginger beef and green beans
This quick and easy meal can be prepared and on the table in under half an hour. We love it as is but also have served it over cooked rice. The tender crisp green beans bring great texture to the beef. I often use the shredded beef sold in the meat department for even faster prep.

Ingredients
- 1 pound skirt steak or shredded beef
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 pound green beans with ends trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons grated ginger (approx 3 inch piece)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 green onions
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
How To Make ginger beef and green beans

Step 1If using Skirt steak, slice into 1/4" strips. Pat beef dry. Place in a mixing bowland toss with salt, pepper and cornstarch. Set aside.

Step 2In a large skillet, medium high heat, add green bean and drizzle 1 tsp of oil. Cooke one minute. Add 2 T water and cover with a lid. Steam for 2.minutes then rove from pan and drain any remaining water. Set aside.

Step 3Return skillet to high heat, add oil. When oil is hot add beer and stir fry until almost cooked through. Reduce to meduim heat. Add ginger, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar. Stir beef to coat. Add back green beans and toss again. Top with chopped green onions and almonds.

Step 4Serve and enjoy. May he served over rice.
