steaks
4 clove
finely chopped garlic
1 dash(es)
salt
6 Tbsp
butter, unsalted
2 tsp
dried thyme
1/2 tsp
black pepper

How to Make Garlic Butter Beef

Step-by-Step

  • 1Using a Mortar and Pestle, or the flat side of a knife, mash the garlic with a large pinch of salt until it forms a paste.
  • 2In a Medium bowl, combine the garlic paste, butter, thyme, black pepper and 1 tsp of salt. Smear half the mixture on both sides of the steaks.
  • 3Cover with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to soak up the flavor. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Grill for 5 minutes on George Foreman grill.
