Ingredients For ole's fruited meatballs in dill gravy

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground veal
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1 lg
    apple, peeled and grated
  • 2 c
    soft bread crumbs, 4 slices
  • 3
    eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1/4 c
    parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 tsp
    dill seeds

How To Make ole's fruited meatballs in dill gravy

    Mix first 9 ingredients, shape into meatballs. Place, not touching, in a greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees. Transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.

    GRAVY: To make gravy pour water into the cookie sheet to mix drippings, gradually stir this water into the mushroom soup. Heat to the boiling point. Stir in dill seed. Then pour gravy over meatballs.

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour
