Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground veal
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 large apple, peeled and grated
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs, 4 slices
- 3 - eggs, beaten slightly
- 1/4 cup parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds
How To Make ole's fruited meatballs in dill gravy

Step 1Mix first 9 ingredients, shape into meatballs. Place, not touching, in a greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees. Transfer to a 2 quart baking dish.

Step 2GRAVY: To make gravy pour water into the cookie sheet to mix drippings, gradually stir this water into the mushroom soup. Heat to the boiling point. Stir in dill seed. Then pour gravy over meatballs.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour
