FRENCH ONION MEATLOAF

2 lbground beef
1/4 cgrated onion
2 cseasoned stuffing, about 4 oz.
1 can(s)(10.5 oz.) french onion soup
2eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 tspdried thyme
1/2 tspground black pepper
1 cshredded swiss or gruyere cheese, 4 oz.
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese
1 can(s)crispy fried onions
How to Make FRENCH ONION MEATLOAF
- In a large bowl, mix together beef, grated onion, stuffing, soup, eggs, thyme and black pepper until well combined. Form into a loaf, about 9x5-inches and transfer to a loaf pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove meatloaf from oven and top with shredded cheese, grated Parmesan and crispy fried onions. Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
- Remove meatloaf from the oven and place pan on a cooling rack. Transfer meatloaf to a cutting board or platter and rest 15 minutes before serving.
