A Friend sent this to me a long time ago... since then, I went into the kitchen and did some adjusting my way...
I hope you like it as much as I do....

Ingredients

2 lb
lean ground beef
1 qt
water
1 large
can - petite diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp
garlic powder or 3 cloves of garlic (cloves are best)
2 medium
onions - diced small
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
cumin powder
1 1/2 tsp
vinegar
3 Tbsp
chili powder
1 1/2 tsp
ground allspice
2
bay leaves
1 tsp
ground cloves
2
squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp
celary seeds
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp
hot sauce ( your choice, i always use tabasco )

How to Make Fireman Bob's Cincinnati Chili done my way...

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown ground beef with onions; add tomatoes, sauce, water, and rest of spices. Cook at least 3-4 hours on simmer without a lid. Stir occasionally ( every 15 to 20 minutes. )
  • 2Chili can be served in a bowl or over spaghetti and even in a bread bowl...with sides of grated extra sharp cheddar cheese, chili beans, and chopped onions to add as you like.
  • 3Enjoy!
