beef - your choice cut into thin strips
1/2 c
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c
diced tomatoes
1 c
various bell peppers (see below)
1/4 c
chopped yellow onions
1/4 c
light sour cream
toufayan low carb pita bread cut in half
1/4 tsp
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1 tsp
seasoned salt
1 1/2 tsp
tony chachere's more spice seasoning
2 Tbsp
olive oil

How to Make Fajita Pita


  • 1*** Note I keep a bowl in my freezer of various color bell peppers, yellow, orange, red and green, and I just pull out what I need. Each pepper color has its own distinctive flavor, mixed together is what makes this, but experiment on your own what you like :)
  • 2Put 2 T of Olive oil in a frying pan and put in the Beef strips onions and pepper mix. Add seasonings, and cook to your liking.
  • 3Cut one Toufayan Low-Carb Pita across the center to form 2 pockets.
  • 4Garnish as you like, put in the meat/pepper/onion mixture, put in the tomatoes, sour cream and what ever else you would like such as lettuce, or black olives.
