Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 large yellow onion, sliced into 1/4 inch rings
- 12 ounces bottle stout beer, guinnes would work good here
- - kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 large sesame seed buns
- - dijon mustard
How To Make english pub burger

Step 1Heat oil in frypan, add onions, and cook over med high heat until browned, about 10 min.

Step 2Add beer and cook until the beer has reduced almost completely, about 10 min, season with the salt and pepper.

Step 3Season patties and grill to desired doneness, for us that's 6 to 8 min or so.

Step 4Top each burger with cheese the last few min of cooking to melt.

Step 5To assemble, slather dijon mustard on buns and top burgers with onions.
