Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean beef cubes
  • 4 - carrots, cut in bite-size pieces
  • 6 to 8 - potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped coarsely
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 or 3 - stalks celery, chopped small
  • 4 or 5 tablespoons minute tapioca
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • dash pepper
  • 2 cups tomato or v-8 juice
