- 4 - carrots, cut in bite-size pieces
- 6 to 8 - potatoes, cubed
- 1 large green pepper, chopped coarsely
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 or 3 - stalks celery, chopped small
- 4 or 5 tablespoons minute tapioca
- 3 teaspoons salt
- dash pepper
- 2 cups tomato or v-8 juice
