This recipe came from a jar of spaghetti sauce and is super easy to make. It is so much better than those canned sauces that you mix with meat!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground chuck
  • 1 medium
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small
    green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    traditional spaghetti sauce with garlic (i like prego)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 6
    hamburger buns

How to Make ELLEN'S EASY SLOPPY JOES

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the meat, onion and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Add salt while cooking. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. When heated through, spoon mixture onto buns and enjoy!
