I grew up making this steak my Dad taught me to make this. It is so easy to make. It is good served with a Chef's salad and hand cut french fries.

Ingredients

1 lb
round steak, cubed
2 Tbsp
shortening
1 Tbsp
flour
1/2 c
catsup
1/2 c
water
3 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/8 tsp
pepper
1
beef bouillon cube
1 clove
garlic minced
1/2 c
finely chopped onion
1 box
mushrooms, fresh
2 large
peppers cut into rings
1 medium
onion cut into rings

How to Make EDDIE'S CUBED PEPPER STEAK WITH MUSHROOMS

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brow beef cubes in shortening, remove from pan.
  • 2Blend in flour to make a smooth paste
  • 3Add catsup, water, soy sauce pepper, bouillon cube, garlic, ans onion bring to a boil. Reduce heat simmer for 20 minutes
  • 4Add beef to sauce cook until tender.
  • 5Add mushrooms, pepper, and onion rings cook for about 10 minutes or until crisp tender. DO NOT ADD SALT OR ACCENT.
  • 6Serve immediately with hot fluffy rice.
