eddie's cubed pepper steak with mushrooms
I grew up making this steak my Dad taught me to make this. It is so easy to make. It is good served with a Chef's salad and hand cut french fries.

Ingredients
- 1 pound round steak, cubed
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - beef bouillon cube
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 box mushrooms, fresh
- 2 large peppers cut into rings
- 1 medium onion cut into rings
How To Make eddie's cubed pepper steak with mushrooms

Step 1Brow beef cubes in shortening, remove from pan.

Step 2Blend in flour to make a smooth paste

Step 3Add catsup, water, soy sauce pepper, bouillon cube, garlic, ans onion bring to a boil. Reduce heat simmer for 20 minutes

Step 4Add beef to sauce cook until tender.

Step 5Add mushrooms, pepper, and onion rings cook for about 10 minutes or until crisp tender. DO NOT ADD SALT OR ACCENT.

Step 6Serve immediately with hot fluffy rice.
