I hate the texture of boiled potatoes, so I always make mashed or oven roasted potatoes on the side.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 medium
    boneless chuck roast
  • 1 lb
    baby carrots (add more or less carrots, if desired)
  • 2 pkg
    au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Easy Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray crockpot generously with non-stick cooking spray. Place sliced onoins in bottom. Add beef roast directly on top of onoins.
  2. Sprinkle roast with Au Jus gravy mix.
  3. Put lid on crock-pot and cook on low for about 8 hours.
  4. Pour baby carrots over the roast. Sprinkle with salt'n'pepper.Cook for about 2 more hours or until carrots at your desired crispness/softness.
  5. If desired, you can drain the juices into a hot skillet and whisk in a little corn starch to make a thicker gravy.
