I hate the texture of boiled potatoes, so I always make mashed or oven roasted potatoes on the side.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium boneless chuck roast
  • 1 pound baby carrots (add more or less carrots, if desired)
  • 2 packages au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make easy pot roast

  • Step 1
    Spray crockpot generously with non-stick cooking spray. Place sliced onoins in bottom. Add beef roast directly on top of onoins.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle roast with Au Jus gravy mix.
  • Step 3
    Put lid on crock-pot and cook on low for about 8 hours.
  • Step 4
    Pour baby carrots over the roast. Sprinkle with salt'n'pepper.Cook for about 2 more hours or until carrots at your desired crispness/softness.
  • Step 5
    If desired, you can drain the juices into a hot skillet and whisk in a little corn starch to make a thicker gravy.
