Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 3/4 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    green pepper. chopped
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 11/2 c
    minute rice

How to Make EASY DINNER PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, onion,green pepper,1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt and pepper.
    Press gently into a lightly greased 10
    inch deep dish pie plate.
  2. Mix together the Minute rice, 11/2 cups, tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, 1 cup water and 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.
    Spoon rice-mixture filling into meat crust.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil.
    Bake at 350' for 25 minutes.
    Remove foil and bake 10 minutes longer.
