Ingredients
- 3/4 cup no salt added tomato sauce divided
- 4 tablespoons reduced sodium chunky salsa
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 - egg whites
- 1 - clove garlic fine minced
- 1/2 cup fine minced onions
- 1/3 cup no salt added mushrooms stems and pieces , drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 8 ounces 96 % lean ground beef
- 8 ounces lean ground turkey
How To Make diet friendly meatloaf

Step 1preheat oven 350 spray piece of aluminum foil w/ cooking spray . put foil on broiler pan , set aside .

Step 2mix 1/2 c tomato sauce , 3 tblsp salsa , pepper and egg whites in med bowl . stir in garlic , onions , mushrooms , oatmeal .

Step 3mix ground beef into turkey in lg bowl , add liquid ingredients to meat mix , mix well . remove mix from bowl, shape into 4x 8 retangular loaf and place into pan . mix 1/4c tomato sauce and 1 tblsp salsa , pour on top of meat . bake 55 min , let stand 5 min , serve
