Darlene & Candi's Meatloaf!

Candi Hummer

The story behind this meatloaf is...Hubby loved his mothers meatloaf and no matter how I made meatloaf he hated it! (frankly, so did I!!)

So, A lil old lady at church gave me a few pointers, then another lil old lady at church gave me a few pointers!

This is what I came up with, Hubby's Mom, Darlene, apparently made it just like this except for my personalized drain pan of course!!

How to Make Darlene & Candi's Meatloaf!

  1. Cook garlic, onion and celery in butter or oil for about 5 minutes.
In mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix very very thoroughly.
place into holy meatloaf pan and cook in 350* oven for 1 hour
  2. I hate meat to cook in it's own fat, so I came up with a solution! I got a pan from a thrift store and drilled holes in it!, I make a liner with aluminum foil or you can just use another pan under the holey pan to catch the fat.
