dad's hamburger gravy!
When I was a kid growing up, we didn't have a lot of money. My dad used to make this, served often over sliced white bread or biscuits. It was a cheap and easy way to feed a family of five! Also it was delicious!

Ingredients
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1-1 1/2 pounds hamburger 80/20
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2-3 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make dad's hamburger gravy!

Step 1In a deep skillet, brown hamburger.

Step 2Draing hamburger, reserving 1/2 cup grease. Set hamburger aside.

Step 3Add grease back into the pan and heat over medium-high heat.

Step 4Whisk in flour and stir until just starting to brown.

Step 5Pour in milk, add salt & pepper. Stir over medium-high heat until bubbly and thickened.

Step 6Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, toast or biscuits!
