Simmering the meatballs without frying or baking in this sauce will infuse the Cuban flavors. serve over white rice

Ingredients For cuban meatballs

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2
    onion
  • 1/2
    green pepper
  • 3 clove
    garlic
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce 8oz
  • 1 can
    petite diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 c
    dry cooking wine
  • 1 jar
    pimentos small
  • salt/pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make cuban meatballs

  • 1
    Add salt/pepper to ground beef, form into meatballs, set aside
  • 2
    dice onions, peppers & garlic in a large skillet saute in the olive oil (slow and low)
  • 3
    add in the tomato sauce, petite diced tomatoes, pimentos & wine.
  • 4
    add in the meatballs and simmer on low-med for 30 mins.
