This is the family size recipe that I modified for two.

The church recipe does not call for cheese, but feel free to add it!

  • 2 lb
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 large
    package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 can(s)
  • 2 lb
    frozen tater-tots or enough to cover 9x13 pan

How to Make Covenant Church Tater-Tot Hot Dish


  1. Brown hamburger. Put on bottom of 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle dry onion soup over hamburger.
  3. Then place the frozen vegetables over that.
  4. Over this, pour the soup mixed with milk.
  5. Cover with tater-tots.
  6. Bake one hour at 350 degrees. Do not cover.
