How to Make country fried steak
1Cover the bottom of a large heavy skillet with the cooking oil. Turn to medium heat and saute the onion until tender. Remove the onion and set aside.
2Combine flour with the salt and pepper. Dredge the steaks in the seasoned flour.
3Fry each side of each steak in the oil in the skillet 4 to 5 minutes over medium heat. Cover the steaks with onion and enjoy.
