Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 medium onion sliced
- (6) 4 ounces cubed beef steak
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make country fried steak

Step 1Cover the bottom of a large heavy skillet with the cooking oil. Turn to medium heat and saute the onion until tender. Remove the onion and set aside.

Step 2Combine flour with the salt and pepper. Dredge the steaks in the seasoned flour.

Step 3Fry each side of each steak in the oil in the skillet 4 to 5 minutes over medium heat. Cover the steaks with onion and enjoy.
