Comfort Casserole with Green Cabbage
1 lbground beef, browned and drained
1 smallonion, chopped
1 smallcabbage head, thinly sliced into shreds
1/2 craw, white rice
1 can(s)tomato soup
1 can(s)of water
·salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tspgarlic powder
How to Make Comfort Casserole with Green Cabbage
- Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic in a covered skillet, turning occasionally.
- Layer the cabbage, meat and rice into a large, buttered casserole dish, alternating the layers.
- Mix the soup with the can of water adding the salt and pepper. Pour this over the other ingredients.
- Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and let set for 10 minutes before serving.
