- 1 pound 90% lean ground beef
- 2 cloves garlc,minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chinese five spice powder
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon cold water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sriracha chili sauce
- 1 can ( 8oz) diced water chestnuts,drained
- 1 bunch green onions,thinly sliced
- 8-12 large boston lettuce leaves
How To Make chinese beef lettuce wraps

Step 1In a nonstick 12 inch skillet, cook beef,garlic and five spice powder over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until browned,breaking up meat with side of spoon. Meanwhile,in cup,mix soy sauce, sherry, water,cornstarch and chili sauce.

Step 2Stir water chestnuts and green onions into beef mixture.Add soy sauce mixture and cook 1-2 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Makes about 3 cups.

Step 3Divide beef mixture among lettuce leaves. Fold leaves over beef mixture to eat out of hand.

Step 4Each serving about 250 calories, 12gram total fat (4.5 g saturated),60 mg sodium, 10g carbs, 2g fiber,24 g protien.
