1In a nonstick 12 inch skillet, cook beef,garlic and five spice powder over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until browned,breaking up meat with side of spoon. Meanwhile,in cup,mix soy sauce, sherry, water,cornstarch and chili sauce.
2Stir water chestnuts and green onions into beef mixture.Add soy sauce mixture and cook 1-2 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Makes about 3 cups.
3Divide beef mixture among lettuce leaves. Fold leaves over beef mixture to eat out of hand.
