This is my version of a favorite sammie.
This is more grilling and then assembling than it is a recipe.
We love these with grilled green peppers and onions and on a crusty Italian 5 grain loaf bread.
1 Tbspolive oil
1 mediumgreen bell pepper, sliced thickly
1 mediumonion, sliced on the thick side
·salt and pepper to taste
6 sliceround steak,very very thinly sliced
4 sliceamerican or provolone cheese, each about 1 oz.
2 mediumcrusty rolls
How to Make Cheesesteaks
- Spray grill with non stick spray, and pre heat grill to med high, I use a stove top grill for this.
- When it is done on one side, flip over, add cheese and cover with aluminum foil for a minute to melt cheese.
