Ingredients
- 1/4 cup solid shortening
- 3 ounces pkg. cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons ice water
- 1/2 pound ground lean beef
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make cream cheese pizza pasties

Step 1Cut shortening and cream cheese into flour and salt. Sprinkle with water one Tablespoon at a time until dough holds together. Chill about 25 minutes. Brown beef. Pour off fat. Stir in pizza sauce, onion, oregano, salt and pepper. Set aside. Roll out pastry into two 8-inch circles on a floured surface. Cover 1/2 of each circle with meat mixture, and top each with cheese. Fold over pastry to cake a half moon. Press our edges with fork to seal . Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 425^ for 20 minutes , until golden brown.
