cabbage rolls or prachas
(1 RATING)
My husband loves this dish and he asks for it often. Although a little time consuming, it is worth the effort. To me, cooking is a labor of love.

How To Make cabbage rolls or prachas
-
Step 1Cook whole cabbage in boiling water until tender; cool. Combine ground beef, rice, onion, egg, lemon juice and sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. Place a small amount of beef mixture in each cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking ends in.
-
Step 2Drain tomatoes (reserve liquid for later) and combine with the rest of ingredients in large pot. Add cabbage rolls and simmer on low heat 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add reserved liquid if needed during cooking. You can do this in a slow cooker and cook 6 - 8 hours.
