Cabbage Roll Cassersole
2 lbground beef or ground turkey
1 mediumhead of cabbage chopped, core removed
1 crice, long grain
1 largeonion, chopped
1 can(s)tomato sauce 1lb.12 oz large can
1 Tbspgarlic powder
1 Tbspcanola oil
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Cabbage Roll Cassersole
- Preheat over to 350. In medium saucepan, bring rice and water to a boil. Turn down to a simmer and cover, cook for 20-25 minutes until rice is tender.
- While rice is cooking, in large skillet cook hambuger or turkey with onion and garlic powder. In another skillet saute the cabbage with the oil until tender, not mushy. And in salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix all in a large mixing bowl when done with tomato sauce, put in greased 9x13 dish and cover. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Good served with hot french bread.
