The casserole turned out great and was much easier than sitting there and rolling each leaf with meat & rice. The result was great without all the work.

Ingredients
- 8 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 cup cooked or instant rice
- 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 15 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
How To Make cabbage roll casserole

Step 1Steam cabbage for a few minutes. Drain

Step 2In bowl, combine cooked ot instant rice, onion, beef, salt & pepper.

Step 3In greased casserole dish, place half of cabbage.

Step 4Press all of meat mixture then top with remaining cabbage.

Step 5In small bowl, combine water, tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon & Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage. Sprinkle with salt & pepper

Step 6Cover with foil & bake until meat is done & cabbage is tender
