Ingredients
- 1 pound ground venison, ground beef or shredded meat
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stick celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup catsup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 8 - sandwich rolls

Step 1In a large skillet, cook the ground meat, cabbage, onion, celery and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are crisp-tender; drain. NOTE: If using shredded meat, pre-cook and add to skillet after vegetables have cooked.

Step 2Stir in the catsup, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Spoon ½ cup onto each roll.
