Oh the healing powers of cabbage! I love to make new casseroles so one day I had a head of cabbage I needed to use, so I came up with this and my husband says this is a keeper.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey or lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 cup rice, uncooked + 2 cups water
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 - head of chopped cabbage
- - sea salt and pepper to taste
How To Make cabbage casserole my way

Step 1Brown meat with onion, garlic, sea salt and pepper in a large skillet.

Step 2While meat is cooking, cook 1 cup rice with 2 cups of water until almost done. (I microwave, covered for 5 minutes on high, then 10 minutes on 50% power)

Step 3Add in order given to meat, Rice, 16 oz. tomato sauce 1 ½ cups chicken broth, stir well and then add 1 head of chopped cabbage Cook until Cabbage wilts (about 10 minutes)
