I made this today and it turned out delicious. I didn't know what to expect and it was perfect. I served it in bowls, with sour cream and horseradish.

Ingredients
- 1 - beef brisket
- 16 ounces pinto beans, dried
- 1 large onion quartered
- 1 large green bell pepper chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon minced dried garlic
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 bottle liquid smoke flavoring
- - salt & pepper
How To Make smokey brisket and pinto beans

Step 1Place brisket with seasoning packet in crock pot, add remaining ingredients making sure beans are in water.

Step 2Start out on high for 1 hr then reduce to low and let simmer for 6 hrs or until beans and brisket are tender. Do not remove lid during cooking.

Step 3Remove brisket and slice, serve with beans in a bowl. Add a dollop of horseradish and sour cream if desired.
