This makes a moist, spicy, and delicious meatloaf, and the sauce tops it off!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup no salt ketshup
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons bold and spicy mustard
  • 3 cloves fresh grated garlic
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 2 teaspoons low sodium brisket rub
  • 1/2 cup coarse black pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 2 cans 8 oz. each, no salt added tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons bold and spicy mustard
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ea. of cumin, granulated garlic, granulated onion, and balsamic vinegar

How To Make black pepper crusted meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Break ground beef up in large mixing bowl. Add chopped onions, celery and grated garlic. Sprinkle on spices. In a cup, mix together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, mustard and ketchup. Mix together well, pour into ground beef. Mix together till all ingredients are combined.
  • Step 2
    Form into a log and pat downward and inward a couple times to help keep it from falling apart. Pour coarse black pepper into your hand and pat on top and sides of meatloaf.
  • Step 3
    Place in baking dish and bake 375° for 1- 1/2 hr. Check temp with meat thermometer after one hour. Cook a few minutes longer if needed.
  • Step 4
    FOR SAUCE: In a small sauce pan added all sauce ingredients. Simmer for 20 min.
