I made up this recipe and my family loves it.I have made this for years.

    green pepper chopped
  • 1 small
    sweet onion chopped
  • 2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 6
    sliced american cheese
  • 6
    hamburger buns

How to Make Best Ever Sloppy Joe's


  1. Brown hamburger then drain .Add worcestershire sauce,onions,green peppers, , until vegetables start getting soft.Add catsup, ,brown suger,mustard and salt,pepper.
  2. Put on med heat till it starts cooking then on simmer for 20 minutes.Serve on buns . Top the sandwich with a slice of cheese .
  3. I have made this in the crock pot .I brown the hamburger drain it then add all my other ingredrents. cook on low for 4 hours.
