This is a really good recipe.The taste in this dish is, the herb, tarragon.The tarragon really bursts flavor.My family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean beef ( like top sirloin)
  • 1 - onion,chopped
  • 1(8oz) package mushrooms,sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream, lite
  • 1 teaspoon dry tarragon
  • - olive oil, extra virgin,butter to fry
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make beef stroganoff with good flavor (crock pot)

  • Step 1
    Cut the beef into 2 inch long strips and fry it on oil until brown.Sprinkle with salt and pepper.Pour to the crock pot slow cooker.Add beef broth.
  • Step 2
    In the same pan add a little butter and fry the onion for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms and fry for 5 minutes more.Sprinkle with the tarragon.Combine the mushroom mixture with the beef in a crock pot.Let it cook for 1 hour on high.
  • Step 3
    Add the sour cream and cook another 2-3 hours on high.Serve over noodles.
